Hello Hello, 👋
This is the No-code shots, the weekly No-code newsletter that's like a pot of coffee in winter: always hot, always fresh, and always worth your time. ☕
It’s Tuesday, let’s get into it:
⚡ Integrate Google Calendar with Notion 📅 ⚡
If you want two tools to manage all your work, Google Calendar and Notion are a pretty solid pair. 🤝
But it's when they start talking to each other that they move into power couple status.
Here, Zapier writer and Notion superfan Will Harris talk about how he keeps the two apps connected, so his schedule and his workspace are always in sync. 🔄
⚡Building a Startup in 24 hrs ⏳⚡
Yep, the title might feel a bit deceptive but not at all impossible!
Sara Dietschy a popular tech creator built an MVP of a marketplace where students book tutors to teach them creative programs like Blender and Resolve. 🎬
Sara with her friends Garrett Scott and Matt Krandel built an MVP on Bubble and was done in 24 hrs.
Users are always the best to show what products can do and this also shows how Bubble can help you, even if you don't know to write code. 💻
So, when are YOU going to get kicking with your startup idea? 🦄

⚡ Cold email triggers Apple to lift ban on No-Code apps 📨 ⚡
This is a story from 2017 when Apple released updated App Store guidelines that included a new rule allowing it to ban apps created by a “commercialized template or app generation service” aka No-code apps. 🚨
The understanding at the time was this was part of Apple’s larger App Store cleanup, and the focus was on helping rid the marketplace of low-quality clone and spam apps. 📲
But a cold email to Tim Cook from Andrew Gazdecki — CEO of MicroAcquire with a petition made Apple lift the ban. 📧
He quoted apps that were helping teens deal with mental health issues and questioned — Why ban useful mobile apps like this just because it was built with a "No code" app builder? — which made Apple executives rethink about their guidelines. 📋

⚡ Build an AI-based email summarizer 📩⚡
In the 14th edition of No-code Shots we featured Emails.wtf- a tool built on No-code which summarizes emails with AI. 🤖
The creator of this tool Yohei Nakajima, who is a General Partner at Untapped Capital, in a bid to declutter and organize his mailbox has built this magic tool on No-code stack of Airtable, Softr, Zapier, Openai, GPT3, and Gmail. 🗃
He recently released the tutorial video of the build and claims it can be done in 1 hour 40 minutes. Aint it so cool? 🤯
Well, magicians like Yohei are surprising everyone with their No-code caliber. ✨
